Fun Facts
My favorite thing to do is sing and I can't hold a note to save my life. One day I hope to learn to sing well. I also enjoy stepping. I am a former step coach of the Wildcat Steppers, an all girls step team I founded during my teaching career. It always brought me so much joy to watch my girl perform.
About Me
I graduated cum laude from Alabama State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Education. I am also a certified K-6 teacher. I have been teaching for four years prior to teaching I tutored elementary and middle school students in reading for four years. I worked with 20 to 24 students independently in a classroom setting for four years.
Experience
I have helped several struggling readers in my seven years of experience in tutoring and teaching. I am a great tutor because I have obtained certification in the State of Georgia to teach. Also, I possess the experience of not only teaching elementary academic subject but also developing differentiated lessons on an elementary level (K-6). I have also attended several reading seminars which I retained numerous of strategies for helping kids to read.
