About Me
I am 25 years old and currently a substitute teacher working on getting my teaching certification. My bachelor's degree is in international studies with a double minor in creative writing and anthropology from St. Mary' College of California.
Experience
Throughout college I was a nanny for a few different families and one of the main responsibilities I was assigned was to tutor and help the children complete their homework, study for tests, and work on projects. I have also volunteered overseas as an English teacher in Thailand, Kenya, and Austria. My most recent experience is from being a substitute teacher. I work with children on a weekly basis teaching them in a classroom setting and helping them complete their work.
Approach
As a tutor, my goal is to bring creativity and imagination to the sessions and the attitude 'you can do it'! School might be challenging but through hard work, persistence, and the development of study skills anyone can be successful.
