Fun Facts

I love going to farmers markets, and open air flea markets. Discovering and trying new varieties of fruits and veggies, and finding a piece of china that my grandmother would have been happy to have in her collection are adventures that make me happy. That aside, I am learning how to couples dances right now and am having so much fun learning.

About Me

I am senior Biology major at University of Texas at Dallas. I have previous degrees in Genetics and Public Health. My ultimate goal is to be a physician, and I am back in school to make my dream a reality.

Experience

I am currently a supplemental instruction (SI) leader for biochemistry at UTD, and meet with students to facilitate sessions to create a fun learning environment. If someone has come this far in school, they have the ability to succeed in this class. The students attend SI sessions twice weekly for 75 minutes, and I have maintained a group of regulars from the class that both enjoy and master the material.

Approach

Everyone in this class can learn this material, and if they have made it this far in asking for help, I will do my best to guide their successful completion of this class. The work and the materials are theirs to learn, but mine to help make fun and attainable.
