Fun Facts
A couple of things people don't know about me is that I play guitar and write music! I love to sing even though I don't always sound great. I'm from Georgia and have lived here my entire. I also really enjoy nature and being outdoors on nice fall days.
About Me
I am a sophomore at Emory University majoring in Biology BS on the premed track. In the future, I hope to attend Emory School of Medicine and pursue a degree in Anesthesiology. Currently, I am a biology lab teaching assistant which I greatly enjoy.
Experience
As a biology lab teaching assistant, I have the opportunity to teach students biology subject matter and lab techniques at a college level every week. In addition to teaching them, I also act as a mentor to assist my students in every day life.
Approach
Growing up, I remember learning being boring because teachers didn't make material interesting, but in college, seeing professors who have real passion for their subjects made me more interested and excited to learn. I want to bring enthusiam for learning and teaching to students! I have also gained valuable study skills that I would like to share to help my students become even more successful.

Biology BS
Biology I Tutoring
I have taken Biology 1 with lab, Biology 2 with lab, and I am currently enrolled in Organismal Biology. I received a B+ average in both biology classes I have completed. I am a Biology major, so I have become proficient in the subject matter in these classes.
Chemistry Tutoring
I am currently taking my third Chemistry class in college, so i have extensive knowledge of fundamental chemistry.
Pre Calculus Tutoring
In high school, I took AP Calculus BC, receiving a score of 4 on the exam and an A in the class. I have in depth knowledge of calculus, which stems from the basics that are learned in Pre Calculus.
Pre Algebra Tutoring
In high school, I took algebra, geometry, statistics and calculus which all involve knowledge of pre algebra, so I have experience using and applying the fundamentals of pre algebra. I received high "A's" in all of my math classes.

I have taken many math classes including algebra, calculus statistics and geometry and received high "A's" in the classes. I took AP Calculus BC and AP Statistics and received a score of 4 on both exams.

I am pre medicine at Emory University, and have taken three classes in biology and three classes in chemistry, finishing with a B average in classes and labs. The sciences are my specialty and I would love to share my knowledge!
