One of my passions is working in sport and recreation activities with children. I have learned a lot of patience and have good interpersonal skills. Working with children has grown to be something I love. I also love helping others in any way that I can.

About Me

I am majoring in Recreation Education with a specialization in Exercise Science and a minor in Psychology at Lehman College. My goals include becoming a college professor in the subject of recreation education and/or health. My alternative goal is to become a middle school or high school gym teacher and a basketball head coach for high school student-athletes.

I was a manhattan">tutor for Champion Learning Center and it was a great experience. I was able to work with a diverse group of children in different grade levels. It was a joy to see my efforts, as well as the parent's and children's efforts, improve their understanding of the subjects the child was previously struggling in.

First, I evaluate the child's needs and what he or she are struggling with. Second, I create a personalized lesson plan that will meet his or her needs. I also work on their strengths to keep them one step ahead and his or her confidence high.
