About Me
I recently graduated cum laude with a double major in Literatures in English and Communication and a minor in Business from the University of California, San Diego. I am currently pursuing a career in book publishing, and I love doing editorial work.
Experience
In college, I worked as a writing tutor at my school's writing center. I helped college students with a variety of writing projects, including (but not limited to) assignments for the basic college writing requirements, literary analysis, and personal statements for graduate school applications. I love reading, writing, and working with others, and Frog Tutoring allows me to combine these interests to help students!
Approach
I understand that writing and reading comprehension can be very frustrating for a lot of students, so I like to make sure to point out what a student is doing well before focusing on areas of improvement. Rather than merely "fixing" an assignment, I want to help give students strategies and build skills that will help them in future writing and reading through discussion, examples, and general templates/structures.

I graduated with a B.A. in Literatures in English. I have taken a variety of literature courses, ranging from early British literature to modern children's literature to literature theory. I worked as a college writing tutor for two years.

In addition to having studied literature in college, I worked as a college writing tutor for two years. I was a copy editor for a school newspaper for a year. I interned for a literary agency for a year where I provided editorial feedback on manuscripts.
Reading Comprehension Tutoring
I graduated with a B.A. in Literatures in English. I have taken a variety of literature courses in college, ranging from early British literature to modern children's literature to literature theory, and I worked as a college writing tutor for two years. I interned for a literary agency where I was constantly reading, analyzing, and evaluating manuscripts, and in high school, English was always my best subject; I took honors courses as well as both AP Literature and Language.
