Fun Facts

I write young adult romantic fiction novels and am aspiring to be a famous author. I hope to broadcast the diversity of the young black community through my books while broadcasting more healthier relationships than what we see in today's media. I love spending time with my friends, and going to new restaurants in DC!

About Me

I am a sophomore English major at Howard University. Here, I am in two organizations and partake in many community service projects. After graduation, I hope to go to grad school while working with a publishing company.

Experience

I am vice president of an organization called Sister Sister, which is dedicated to building strong relationships between Howard women and creating safe spaces for them to talk to when they need help. I am also a writer for the Howard edition of HerCampus, which is a digital magazine for young college women.

Approach

As a child, I struggled with school and had to seek help from a tutor who genuinely helped me grow confident in and out of the classroom. I want to teach children that it's okay to ask for a little extra help in the classroom and give them the confidence to go to class prepared and confident that they are smart young students, which is necessity to be a successful student.
