About Me

I’ve been a junior-high math teacher for more than 15 years in Houston Texas area, and lately I have been substituting at different elementary/middle schools in Ventura County California.
I graduated with highest honors from houston">University of Houston, few credits shy of a math major.

Experience

I have over 15 years of classroom teaching and tutoring junior high math, both regular and advanced/honors classes, including Algebra l! Also, since college graduation in 2000, I’ve always enjoyed working privately with students of different levels and needs.

Approach

As a teacher and tutor, I prefer to see the students working step by step and show all their work. I rather spend the time on the process Instead of giving them just an answers.I feel it is my responsibility to not only teach them the content, but study skills that will help them be successful in all classes!
