Fun Facts
I love dogs! I also dog-sit and volunteer at the humane society!
About Me
I have my BS in Biology and my Masters in Environmental health.
Experience
I have tutoring experience from tutoring small groups at the local library while an undergraduate student for three years. I have also tutored one on one for several years. Furthermore, I have experience in a classroom setting from giving presentations to local school children for the Red Cross.
Approach
As a formerly shy student I think one-on-one lessons are vital.
I also struggle with focusing for too long so I think sessions structured around breaks and approaching problems from a real-world perspective or using many examples is incredibly helpful.
Anatomy Physiology I Tutoring
I took A&P as a college student and loved it so much I went back and acted as an assistant teaching assistant for the class the next year.
I also tutored a nursing student.
Algebra Tutoring
I worked with various students on Algebra over the course of my three and a half years at a tutoring center.
I took Algebra in high school and received an A. I've also used it in many science classes.
