Fun Facts
I became a certified scuba diver a little over 2 years ago and ever since I have logged a few dives once every 6 months. I am passionate about the ocean and sea life and diving is such a liberating experience for me. I still vividly remember my very first dive in St Croix and how it left me bewildered. The zero gravity environment below the water surface is a transcendant experience, it is as if I have been transported to another planet. I am a runner, a cyclist, and I enjoy picnics in nature
About Me
I am a recent graduate from Drexel University with an MS in environmental engineering. I graduated with a Cum Laude distinction. I have also completed my BS in environmental engineering. I have been passionate about the environment from a very young age so it was easy for me to choose this field. Following completion of my degrees, I cannot wait to be part of an organization that contributes to the betterment of the air, water, and soil quality and that has clearly defined sustainability goals
Experience
During my junior year during my undergraduate studies, I offered tutoring to fellow freshmen and sophomore students taking lower level technical classes, such as calculus I through III, differential equations, chemistry, physics.
I have also privately tutored French to a student majoring in French. French and Arabic are my native languages but I am also extremely fluent in English.
Approach
Growing up with 3 younger siblings, I have always taken up the role of their mentor and helped them with any difficulties they encountered in any of their classes. My youngest sister is now in college and I was flattered to learn that she picked the same major as mine. I always try to simplify complex concepts that wouldn't be understood otherwise. My approach consists of clarifying the question to make sure that the student understands what's asked of him and then follow a step by step solutio
