About Me

I recently moved from New Mexico to Arizona and have lived here for the past two years. I graduated from Eastern New Mexico University in New Mexico with a degree in Elementary Education. I am currently pursuing a master in Curriculum Design. I am the oldest of 2 and I am a dog mom of a 14 years boxer.

Experience

I am a licensed teacher with 7 years of experience in the classroom. I have worked with all levels of students. I have been a para professional as an education/arizona/phoenix">special education teacher from kindergarten to fifth grade.

Approach

With my many years of teaching students from kindergarten to working with special needs students at a junior high level. I know where students struggle. During my years in school I worked very hard for my grades and I found school to difficult at times, until I had a teacher in third grade who persisted in pushing me to my greatest potential. I take this same approach in ,my tutoring and daily classroom procedures. I meet my students at their struggle level and aide them.
