One of my passions is baking. I like to try new recipes every few weeks. When I am not baking or studying, I enjoy watching classic movies.
About Me
I am currently a third year medical student at Howard University College of medicine. I plan to pursue Pediatrics as my specialty in the next two years. My ultimate career goal is to open my own Pediatric Clinic.
Experience
I have been tutoring and teaching throughout my college and post graduate years. I tutored students in elementary through high school while at Georgetown University. When I graduated, I taught Middle and High School Science classes. After starting medical school, I have been tutoring elementary through high school students in Math and Science.
Approach
I believe that the best way to teach students is to illustrate multiple ways to learning the concept. I have found that students are more engaged when they can learn things hands on. I strive to teach my students study skills that they can use in all of their subjects.

I have taken Algebra 1 and Algebra 2 as well as upper level courses such as Statistics and Calculus in College. I have tutored students in Algebra over the last several years
Biology Tutoring
I took Honors and AP Biology in High School. In College and Graduate School, I took Human Biology as well as upper level courses such as Microbiology, Pathology, Pathophysiology, and Genetics.
Chemistry Tutoring
I took Honors and AP Chemistry in High School. In College and Graduate School, I took General Chemistry as well as upper level courses such as Biochemistry. I have been tutoring Chemistry for the past 7 years.
Pre Algebra Tutoring
I took Honors Pre Algebra in High School as well as upper level math courses such as AP Calculus and AP Statistics. I have tutored several students in Pre Algebra over the past 10 years.
Science Tutoring
I have taken a vast amount of Science courses throughout my education. I have taken Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Biochemistry, and Anatomy course in addition to their upper level components. I have been tutoring high school students in Science for the past 8 years.
