Fun Facts
-I have danced my whole life. Starting with Bollywood dance at age 5, I did western dance styles like ballet, tap, and jazz in early elementary school. I took a break and came back to these styles in high school when I was a member of the audition-based Junior and Senior Dance Companies. I also do Bharathnatyam, a classical Indian Dance Style, which I completed my Arangetram, 3 hour solo dance performance indicating your graduation from the dance form. I am currently on a collegiate dance team.
About Me
-I am a freshman Cellular Biology and Molecular Genetics Major with a double minor in Spanish and Statistics at the maryland">University of Maryland. I am in the Honors College's Integrated Life Sciences Program, and I am on the Pre-Med path.
Experience
-As an executive board member of several national honor societies in high school (Math, Science, English, and Dance), I was in charge of tutoring services and was also a tutor. Additionally, I have tutored highs schoolers for SAT and ACT Prep as well as other subject areas and AP tests. I was also a student teacher in my Sunday School and taught preschoolers and middle-schoolers in Hindi.
Approach
-I love tutoring because it gives me a chance to help others. In school, my best learning was usually from my peers. I hope to teach others in the same way and make the content easier by explaining it in student-friendly terms. With an encouraging and positive attitude, I hope to help everyone succeed.
