About Me
I am a sophomore at St. John's University and I was on the Dean's List last year. By the end of this academic year, I will be inducted in three national honor societies. I am currently studying Adolescent Education with a concentration in Mathematics. I hope that I can teach Math to students
Experience
When I was in high school, I tutored students in Math. Many students don't like Math and there are many teachers who don't communicate the best methods to solve certain problems. I helped students understand topics better, not just solve the problem. I've been tutoring students from my school on my own time for free because I absolutely love helping a student understand a topic and seeing their reaction has got to be the best feeling ever.
Approach
I've always been passionate about learning all subjects. I truly did love school; it was my safe haven. To this day, my favorite movies are Science/Math movies. I always studied hard and made sure to learn. I've been good at it and this is what led me to be Valedictorian of my high school class and attend college on a almost full scholarship. I hope that when I tutor, I help students actually learn and see the importance of the subjects. I want them to succeed.
