I am fond of bike riding, scrabble, and golf.. I am very much interested in local community events I volunteer at several local organizations trying to improve the quality of life in the Sandy Oregon area. I love listening to classical rock music and watching old movies.

About Me

I have a vast writing background, including industrial advertising agency writing, free-lance writing, catalog writing, and corporate newsletter writing. I believe this has helped me to communicate clearly and to develop rapport with young students. I am extremely conscientious and professional. I am an excellent listener, and am very patient and compassionate in dealing with people.

Experience

As an editor, I edited a book manuscript for a local writer, and, as a result, his book placed 3rd on the Amazon best selling list! One of my friends, Harlan Wheeler, is a successful author. His last book finished third on the Amazon best seller list. My editing of his manuscripts was instrumental in getting the work published.

Approach

I have always loved to read and write, and can write expeditiously, with panache, and in a forthright, easily understood manner. I have a vast vocabulary and have an ongoing love affair with the English language. Finding nuances in different words to exactly convey ideas is a great source of personal grtification.
