I enjoy completing DIY projects that range from making a house "smarter" to doing landscaping projects. I'm constantly doing outdoor activities, mainly biking or hiking, and one day hope to hike the Appalachian Trail.

About Me

I am a senior Biomedical Engineer at the Georgia Institute of Technology. I have been been a group leader on Georgia Tech sponsored projects, as well as received grant money to further my own medical device designs. I hope to continue my passion of Engineering through furthering my device concepts as well as pursue a Masters in Biomedical Engineering.

Experience

I have been involved in many research labs at Georgia Tech which included the subjects of Biology, Mechanical Engineering, and Biomedical Engineering. In each of these labs I have been responsible for teaching others about new techniques and data gathered. I have also assisted other college and high school students in the Atlanta area in many areas of math and science.

Approach

Learning can be difficult if there is no motivation or interest in the subject and it can be frustrating when something doesn't make sense even after looking over it several times. As someone who has overcome many difficult subjects, I hope to tailor my teaching methods to each student's style of learning as well as provide valuable skills and insights so that they not only succeed in there current subjects, but all subsequent ones as well.
