Fun Facts
I'm from Wyoming, thus as you would imagine, I love nature. I'm a hiker, rock climber, biker, runner, swimmer, if it's outdoors in nature whether it be a lake, mountain, or plain, I'm there. I served two years speaking Spanish on a LDS mission in Louisiana. In my free time I work on my fiction novel. I graduated middle school with the award for greatest math knowledge.
About Me
I'm going into physical therapy, so I'm getting a degree in kinesiology. My goal is to be able to help people and improve their lives, whether in a clinic or in a classroom. I have several years of leadership experience, which I hope to use to help guide people and lead them to their own bright futures.
Experience
I learned my love of teaching when I became a lifeguard and half my job was teaching children how to swim and did that for three years. Going into college a quickly applied my math and teaching skills, quickly getting a tutoring job tutoring math at Mesa Community College. I worked there for a year and a half.
Approach
I struggled a lot with learning to speak and later write and read, but when I did I learned my complete love for it. My father always taught me for fun, so learning became fun for me. So when I teach, I make learning fun so it is a desirable experience and explain things in a way that makes it pertain to people's lives.
