Fun Facts
I really enjoy sports and spending time with my family. My kids are very active in competitive soccer. As a result we do a lot of things surrounding soccer.
About Me
I currently teach education/oregon/portland">special education in the Hillsboro School District. I have four amazing kids and a fantastic husband who keep life fun and interesting. Teaching and helping ALL students meet high expectations is a passion of mine.
Experience
I have experience teaching in the Beaverton School District in first and third grade. I then went on to earn my education/oregon/portland">special education endorsement. This lead me to the Hillsboro School District when I run a Social Communication Classroom when I primary serve students on the Autism spectrum access the general education curriculum in grades 3-6, while also addressing their social, emotional, and behavioral needs. I have been tutoring off and on for the past 6 year in an array of areas.
Approach
I feel that all students can learn with the proper support. I hold high expectations for all the students o work with while meeting them where they are educationally.
