I love the water and anything the beach. Passions include but are not limited to bodysurfing, bodyboarding, and creative writing. I also am a casual gamer and nerd extraordinaire.

About Me

I am a graduate student of English at ODU and I graduated in 2009 from Christopher Newport University with a Bachelor of Arts in English with a concentration in writing.

Experience

Previously I have worked in restaurants for the past eight years and I have trained people on a one-on-one basis. Furthermore, I have assisted in freelance editing for businesses and friends in the past.

Approach

It's is all about deciding what learning approach works for the individual. Are you hands-on, visual, or auditory? Do you grasp concepts easily or do you need examples to illustrate? I find discovering someone's learning style and illustrating with examples to reinforce the concept works best but everyone is different and it is just a matter of finding out what works.
