Fun Facts

I've been tutoring kids with Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, and Dyscalculia for the past couple years. It's my passion and is keeping me alive. I have stage 1V Cancer, not that you'd know it by how I look or act. Working with my students is my reason for being.

About Me

I hold a degree in Special and Elementary Education and have been a First-grade classroom teacher and Resource Teacher. I like tutoring the best. I'm a widow and mother of three wonderful successful women.

Experience

I'm trained in the Orton Gillingham method which is a systomatic, multisensory method of teaching. I'm also trained in Spire and Barton.

Approach

I believe that it's a scary world when you can't read. I've had a lot of success taking kids that didn't even know their alphabet to reading on grade level.
