Fun Facts

I played the Viola for 5 years! I went to an arts highschool where music was my major I played the bass guitar for a year and also played the Cello for a summer so music is really a passion of mine. I have a sister that's 9 years older than me and a dog named Sparky thats 9 years old.

About Me

I attend the University of Massachusetts Boston and am studying Psychology. I’m a freshman in my first semester and took calculus in highschool. My plans after college are to go to graduate school and get my masters to become an occupational therapist.

Experience

Some awards I’ve gotten are having straight A’s for 3 consecutive semesters and being inducted and graduated from my schools Nationa Honor Society. During my time in the national Honor Society, I volunteered at a non profit community center in Jamaica Plain called Spontaneous Celebrations where I would help children with their homework and teach them about instruments and rhythms.

Approach

While In school, I thought learning new things were exciting! I was usually excited to go to school everyday and learn new things. I believe this was due to a good schooling environment with teachers that care about your education and do everything in their power to see you excel. With this in mind, I feel part of my job as a tutor is to help these students see that learning can be fun and rewarding!
