About Me

I am an adjunct professor at Boston University and Georgetown University. I am from Chelsea, Michigan. I have been tutoring and teaching since 2003. I find it rewarding to work with students and help them navigate a way to accomplish their learning goals.

Experience

I have been tutoring and teaching since 2003. I work with students of all ages, including elementary, middle and high school students and undergraduate and graduate students in math, writing, science, study skills, test prep, navigating the college application process and more.

Approach

My goal when tutoring is to engage students and help them identify which strategies and methods are the best fit for their learning style. I advise students as they work to implement learning and study strategies that help them to meet their goals in an approach that fits their learning styles. Once students identify the learning styles that work best for them, I guide the students to practice this approach until they are comfortable applying it independently.
