Fun Facts

I love to cook! Any free night I have at home I try to cook either one of my favorite dishes or something new. I am also a big New York sports fan, specifically the Yankees, Giants, and Knicks. I also love traveling! I studied abroad in Melbourne, Australia when I was in undergraduate school and went on a cross country road trip for over a month before starting graduate school.

About Me

I am currently a third-year Counseling Psychology PhD student at Fordham University. I graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelors degree in psychology in 2013 and received my Masters in mental health counseling from Fordham in 2017. After I receive my doctorate I hope to work in a college counseling center and in a private practice.

Experience

As an undergraduate student I worked as a mentor, tutor and camp counselor for three years in Philadelphia and New York. During this time I also began working with students in psychology research studies. In my doctoral program I have worked as a therapist with college students and adults. I believe my educational experience and current work as a counselor will allow me to excel as a tutor for Frog Tutoring and help students build a path for future success.

Approach

In middle school and high school I began to appreciate the positive impact tutors can have, not only on a students academic performance, but on their overall confidence. As a tutor, I hope to have the same impact on my students. I believe in providing a positive, supportive, and motivational approach to allow for academic success.
