Fun Facts
During breaks between semesters, I work as a Shift Supervisor at a local Panera Bread, consequently I'm a major foodie. I also love speaking in Italian, although I'm definitely not an expert (yet).
About Me
I'm a junior Psychology major at Texas Christian University and a double minor in Child Development and Italian. My overall GPA is 3.77 and my Psychology GPA is 4.0. This is my third semester on the Dean's List. I volunteer as a Research Assistant on campus for the Hill Social Evolutionary Psychology Lab, I work as a Research Assistant for the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History as a part of the Research and Learning Center. I hope to attend graduate school for Experimental Psychology
Experience
I have been apart of study groups which developed into tutoring my friends quite frequently and this continued throughout college. This has created a very laid back tutoring environment, however with FrogTutoring I love that I'm able to reach many more students! I have a passion for teaching individuals, both young children and adults. I love supporting those in their educational development. I've been able to help college students and children gain confidence in subjects they struggled with.
Approach
I value a conversational approach, encouraging them to open up to an application-based thought process. This allows them to be successful when considering the concept from multiple perspectives, rather than being successful on one test, the student is able to think about the concept on his/her own and it encourages much more stable and long-term learning. I use guided learning when I can to encourage students to find/recall the answers on their own, which results in more sustained confidence.

Child Development Tutoring
I'm a Child Development minor, and I have taken many Psychology courses with overlapping information involved with Child Development. I am early on in my minor so I'm prepared to tutor in introductory courses for this field, but if you are looking for help in more advanced classes, I might not be the best fit, it truly depends on which course you need assistance in. Throughout my classes I have become very comfortable in discussing and teaching theories and concepts in this subject.
Italian Tutoring
I am an Italian minor, and my minor GPA is 4.0; I have received As on all of my Italian and Italian-related classes. I am currently in 4th semester college Italian, so my minor is not yet completed, but I have great experience with the language through my classes as well as spending a summer abroad in Italy myself. If you are a beginner or relatively new to Italian, I can help you develop good strategies for practicing and help with grammar rules as well as pronunciation. My conversational Italian is my biggest strength; I am able to confidently and smoothly communicate with my professors during oral exams and this is a huge benefit when learning a language! I can help you build your oral proficiency as well as grammar structure at the early and intermediate levels. If you need help interpreting literature and coming up with good methods for studying, I can help with this as well! If you will be visiting Italy soon, not only can I help with your conversational and basic Italian, I can also discuss with you cultural differences and what to expect when you go/any travel tips I have!
Psychology Tutoring
I'm a Psychology major and my current major GPA is a 4.0; I have gotten As in all of my psych or psych-related courses. I have taken many Psychology courses, some courses I've taken include introductory classes such as Principles of Behavior, Behavioral Research, and Elementary Statistics. Some of the more unique courses I've taken include Social Psychology, Introductory Neuroscience, Evolutionary Psychology, and Functional Neuroanatomy. One of my main interests in Psychology is Neuroscience and I'm prepared to tutor in just about any of the Neuroscience courses offered in TCU's Psychology department, including: Neuropsychology, Intro Neuroscience, and Advanced Neuroscience. I'm also prepared to tutor in any of the introductory classes, including: General Psychology, Principles of Behavior, Behavioral Research, and Elementary Statistics.
Homework Coach Tutoring
I'm a full-time student at Texas Christian University and I also work two part-time jobs yet I am still able to achieve the Dean's List! This is solely due to good time-management and studying strategies. I can help you develop fundamental methods that work for you and keep you on track even with extracurricular activities. I love helping students learn their strengths and weaknesses and motivating them to learn and grow!
Science Tutoring
When I was in high school, I did very well in all science courses! As I've moved on to college I've continued to take quite a few science courses, such Introductory Biology and Chemistry as well as many Psychology courses. These classes prepare me to help any high school level, including AP students, as I took a lot of AP exams myself while in high school and then refreshed my learning once I got to college.
Elementary Statistics Tutoring
I took Statistics in high school and received an A in the class and I have taken an Elementary Statistics course at my university as apart of my major requirement and scored above a 95 on every exam, and ended the course with an A. I have, BY FAR, the most experience tutoring college level statistics, specifically for students in courses at TCU, but also statistics for high school students.
