Fun Facts

One of the fun facts about me that people notice immediately is that I love to sing. Not only that, but I also love to laugh. It is always a pleasure for me to do something and learn something in the process of having fun. I am the only daughter and have a older brother. I love working with kids and just having conversationns to check thought process. One other fun fact about me is that I love dogs and puppies. I hope to have a puppy someday.

About Me

I am a full time college student working part-time babysitting a nine year old girl. I am also a small business owner running an E-comerce business. I'Very always been great in Algebra or math in general. I was always the go to person for others that needed help in math. I Also have a passion working with kids and helping them succeed. I also have computer skills such as Microsoft Word and PowerPount.

Experience

I have been tutoring friends and family members in math back in the country I used to live (which is Suriname). I am also bilingual Dutch because I come from a Dutch country. I've been speaking Dutch for over 10 years. Math I have been tutoring for 3 years. Moving to the US and taking a Math class, I ended up tutoring a friend of mine again. Now that I am also working part time babysitting a 9 year old girl, I also help her with her math homework.

Approach

It didn't matter to me how each professor would teach math, I always understood it. I've been thought so many techniques from different professor on how to solve an Algebra problem. It's really interesting to know and see the different ways. I obviously picked the technique that I felt more comfortable using. However, I can also relate to other techniques.
