Fun Facts
I was a collegiate division 1 track and field athlete. I find sports to be the best way to wind down from a long day of studying or working. Both of my parents and all of my siblings are division 1 athletes as well. Aside from running I also like to draw cartoons!
About Me
I am a recent graduate from New Mexico State University. I have a Bachelors in Engineering Physics with a concentration in Aerospace. I am currently applying to graduate school to earn my Masters in Aerospace engineering. My main goal is to be a test engineer for the naval air force.
Experience
As a way to earn extra money, I became a math tutor for the Math Success Center at NMSU. I tutored topics from pre-algebra to calc II 16 hours a week for three semesters. I also tutored other student athletes in Physics. I really enjoyed helping other student and fellow student athletes understand math and physics.
Approach
As an engineer you learn that each problem has its own unique solution. There is no magical formula that works every time. The answers are rarely ever obvious and the appropriate steps are even less so. When someone comes to me with a question that I don't know, I apply problem solving skills I learned from engineering. This way the student not only understands how to solve problem they also see how to approach something they don't know how to solve.

College Algebra Tutoring
I have been a tutor in college algebra for three semesters. I took algebra in high school but this is something that I use often and a physicist and an engineer.
Math Tutoring
Math is a core of both physics and engineering. I also have tutored in this topic for three semesters.
Physics I Tutoring
I took Physics one as a high school student as well as a college student and earned a B. I also tutored fellow student athletes in this area. This being my major, I have earned a strong understanding of the topic.
Pre Calculus Tutoring
I have tutor experience in this area for three semesters. A strong understanding in this topic is important for engineering and physics and one of my strengths.
Trigonometry Tutoring
Trigonometry is one of the most relevant math topics for an engineer. I have a thorough understanding in this area and also have tutored this material for three semesters.
Algebra Tutoring
I have been a tutor in college algebra for three semesters. I took algebra in high school but this is something that I use often and a physicist and an engineer.
