Fun Facts
My biggest passion is living a healthy lifestyle. I go to the gym as often as I can and I love the feeling I get from working up a big sweat. I find exercise very therapeutic and extremely beneficial not only for my physical health, but my mental health as well. I consider myself very athletic and I love showcasing that by engaging in fun sports with friends every now and then as well. Some side hobbies I have recently got into are dancing and reading.
About Me
Hello to whoever is reading this! I'm Tiffani, a 21 year old female simply looking to get into tutoring while I make my way through finishing college. I go to Stony Brook University for my undergraduate degree and in the summer of 2018, I will officially be heading into a master's degree program at Stony Brook for Business Management with a concentration in Operations Management. I'm here because I really enjoy teaching and helping anyone accomplish a newer level of understanding in any subject.
Experience
While in high school, I was approached by someone who asked if I could tutor their daughter in Algebra. She was in 7th grade and was struggling in her math class which made her feel very isolated among her peers. After agreeing to tutor this student for a couple months, eventually she began to excel in her course. Ever since I tutored this student, I've thoroughly enjoyed tutoring. Tutoring brings me so much joy dedicating a lot of effort into helping others achieve their academic goals.
Approach
As someone who's consistently on the Dean's list at school, I know the hard work it takes to succeed. I encourage students to really engage more in their academic careers. I bring to my tutoring sessions liveliness and engagement. I'm very confident that I can help students boost their confidence and reach their full potential. My approach with regards to tutoring is to simply start where the student started struggling and to provide all the patience I can to help them progress from there.

I graduated high school with an Advanced Regents Diploma with Mastery in Mathematics. When I came to college, I took the math placement exam and scored on the highest level of the exam. Math is a subject I know many people struggle with and I've always loved to offer my assistance so that I can help anyone progress in their courses and understand the subject better.
Spanish I Tutoring
I started Spanish back when I was in junior high school. I continued to pursue the language in college and aced all my Spanish exams and courses over all. I even got recommended for the advanced Spanish programs at my school by one of my former Spanish professors. I've tutored people in the language over the years so they can get a better understanding of the language as well. I've retained the language over the years and I'm more than happy to assist anyone who's just getting started and needs some assistance.

I have taken Algebra 1 and 2 years ago when I was in junior high school. I was ahead of most my classmates and I always was in an advanced math class. I aced all my math courses as well as mastered all my math related regents exams. I've tutored people in Algebra ever since and I'm confident that I can help students achieve a better understanding of the subject as well.

I've aced any project I've done throughout college involving Microsoft Access and with my experience in utilizing this database management system, I feel I can help anyone in need of understanding it better. Microsoft Access is surprisingly very user-friendly and I believe I can help anyone pick it up very quickly.
