AP English Tutoring

AP Literature was one of my favorite courses in high school. Having received a 4 on the AP test, I have a clear understanding of what the tests are looking for, as well as the tools needed to approach this class.

Arts Tutoring

I have been taking art classes since the 6th grade, although I have been artistic pretty much my entire life. Painting, pottery, photography, video, and creative writing are my strongest subjects, and because they are some of my biggest passions I find myself to be quite dedicated toward facilitating and guiding students in this field.

Homework Coach Tutoring

Time management is key to accomplishing homework, but this is also an individualized skill. As a flexible, patient, and intuitive person, I find it easy to help students figure out what works for them and how they can be the most sufficient self they can be.

Reading Comprehension Tutoring

Having received a 4 on the AP literature test and high scores on the english/reading comprehension section of the SAT, this is one of my strongest areas. Reading comprehension is heavily reliant on having a certain set of tools which, after learned, can be applied in analyzing practically any literature.

Spanish I Tutoring

I have taken three years of high school spanish, and I am now taking another year of spanish in college.

Study Skills Tutoring

All students learn and process information differently and I can assist in identifying individualized methods for the most efficient studying.

Writing Tutoring

English is probably my favorite subject, and thus, I love writing. I have honestly loved writing ever since I learned how to write, whether this be creative writing or academic writing. I have taken several high-level english courses throughout my time as a student, and I believe that I have mastered how to approach the composition of various forms of writing, all the way from a poem to a research paper or philosophical literary analysis.

I have taken up to AP Calculus AB in math, and I took up to geometry in middle school. Learning algebra is all about acquiring skills for memorization, which anyone and everyone could learn, and I could teach.

Understanding math is all about acquiring skills for memorization, which anyone and everyone could learn, and I could teach. Learning math in elementary school is particularly difficult because you have to learn these tools used to approach math, but as a patient tutor I find it easy to work with students toward accomplishing this.

Religion Tutoring

I have studied world religion in high school, and my family is very Christian.

Science Tutoring

Elementary school science is all about being able to conceptualize the content, which is often extremely difficult without individualized attention. As a patient tutor, I can spend time with students by finding the ways in which they may begin to approach science.

Social Studies Tutoring

Social studies heavily relies on the ability to read content and answer questions in response to the material, and what is necessary to be successful in this subject is reading comprehension, patience, and good reading skills. As a tutor who is highly equipped to tutor in higher-level social studies courses, the fundamental building blocks of being able to conceptualize social studies is very easy for me to teach others.
