Fun Facts

It is very clear upon meeting me that I am not from the area. I was raised in Milford, Pennsylvania, which attributes to my educational goals and aspirations. There are a lot of things about the east coast that are very different from Texas, especially the fact that I no longer live 90 miles NYC.

About Me

I am a 24 year old laboratory technician, working in the petroleum industry. I work a four on four off schedule, opening up my availability for many.
I graduated from TAMUCC with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Biomedical Science/Pre-professional.

Experience

I have always enjoyed tutoring others, even those that I was on the same level with. Beginning in middle school, I was always asked to help other students have a greater understanding. In college, this became a tool to help another understand the subject, and for me to understand on a different level.
In college, I worked as a collegiate mentor for Incarnate Word Academy High School, which required a lot of tutoring and test prep. This was to ensure that my students had the best chance.

Approach

I always begin trying to explain subjects the way that I understand subjects, I.e my thinking process. If this isn’t understandable, I will always try to use same fluidity that my professors or teachers taught me.
I believe that anybody can understand any topic, they may just need to learn in a different way. It is my responsibility to find what mode of teaching works best to help it “click”.
