In my spare time, I enjoy playing badminton and Table Tennis. Experiencing different cultures and customs has always been a fascinating experience for me, particularly the various types of food!
About Me
I am a student currently studying at UC Berkeley. I come from Hong Kong, China. I lived in Hong Kong and mainland China for fourteen years before moving to the United States during my freshman year in High School. I am fluent in Chinese, Cantonese, and English. I intend to double major in science/california/san-francisco">Computer Science and Data Science.
Experience
I have had prior experience of tutoring middle school as well as high school students during my sophomore and junior year in High School. Upon entering college, I continue to tutor high school students in a variety of subjects including Mathematics, Foreign languages(Chinese, Cantonese), and Science. For Mathematics, I have tutored levels ranging from Algebra I up to AP Calculus BC, including Statistics and AP Statistics. For science, I tutored Physics and science/california/san-francisco">Computer Science(Python, Java).
Approach
As a student who has studied in China, Hong Kong, and the United States, I have had the opportunity to experience the different kinds of educational methods, environment, and study habits. As a tutor, this experience allows me to combine the elements of the three and apply and share with my students to reach their academic success!
