Fun Facts

One passion of mine is spending time in the outdoors. Being from the Pacific Northwest, I have had the opportunity to grow up with the forest and mountains in my backyard. After moving to Texas, I have realized that mountains are hard to come by, however I still find time to hike or enjoy what Texas has to offer!

About Me

I am a senior Accounting major at Texas Christian University. I've been on the Dean's List for multiple semesters along with plans to graduate Magna Cum Laude. I have recently been offered a position at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where I plan to start my career once I have sat for my CPA exam.

Experience

As a member of Gamma Phi Beta, I have had the opportunity to tutor many members in order to help them better understand the fundamentals of accounting. Having more free time in my schedule, I am eager to jump back into helping students reach their academic goals!

Approach

Throughout my academic experience, I've recognized that most people learn better by doing rather than being lectured. As I approach tutoring, I want to be a tool that empowers them to succeed rather than an answer key. I hope to incorporate study skills that I have used and approach tutoring in a way that helps students learn long term so that once finals come, students will feel prepared!
