Fun Facts

Originally from Montana, I grew up hiking, snowboarding and I developed a love for the outdoors. My favorite activity now, is climbing. Any time the Oregon weather dries, up you can find me at one of our local climbing spots. The best part about it, is when you get to the top of the route, you turn around and have the most beautiful view!

About Me

I am currently a Sophomore Civil Engineering major at Portland Community College. I will be transferring to Portland State University in the next year. After I graduate I will attend a two year program that is more structural based. I hope to one day help in the development of bridges!

Experience

I have worked with specifically young children all my life, from nannying to teaching. Although I have never been paid to tutor, I have always loved helping those around me understand the content of which they are learning.

Approach

I am very aware that each person learns differently. As a tutor, it is my job to cater to the unique learning style of each student. I strongly believe that learning can be fun and extremely gratifying. With the right tools and positive reinforcement anyone can be successful!
