Fun Facts

I love the pool! I love to swim, to play volleyball in the pool, or just sunbathe. I find it to be incredibly relaxing. If you don't see me by the pool, I'm wrecking my friends in Mario Kart, catching up on DC Comics, or playing tennis. I also love to watch shows on Netflix! I'm a fan of anything really, whether it be the humor of Michael Scott on The Office, or the action-packed drama that is Attack on Titan. I'm open to anything.

About Me

I am a freshman Math major at Florida International University. I love to take Math classes alongside Computer Programming classes. When I graduate, I hope to attend the Florida International University Graduate School to earn my Master's in Mathematics. One day, I want to be a professor and teach others about how simple mathematics can really be.

Experience

During my time in high school, I was an active member of the National Mathematics Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta. Aside from dedicating all of my free time in preparation for the competitions, I also spent hundreds of hours upon hours tutoring my friends and peers in all sorts of mathematics. Even now, in college, I've volunteered much of my time to tutoring kids in elementary schools near my home. Frog Tutoring allows me to keep on helping those in need while also working towards my own dreams.

Approach

I was never one to think much of myself. I thought I had nothing special to offer this world. It was not until I met my mentor during my sophomore year that I realized that, no matter how many of us there are, each of us have something special to offer this world. His encouragement, support, and belief in me allowed me to push myself forward. As a tutor, I hope to be as inspiring, encouraging, and supportive by getting students to genuinely understand the meaning and processes in mathematics.
