Anatomy Physiology I Tutoring

At Simmons College I have completed and been very successful in Anatomy & Physiology I and II. As a nursing students, these courses are necessary and I need to know them extremely well. I helped tutor fellow classmates and did an overview session of these courses with students from the high school I graduated from (per request from the science department).

Biology I Tutoring

In high school, I successfully completed and did very well in AP Biology, receiving a 4 on the exam. I took biology again while at Simmons College, also doing very well. This is probably one of my favorite subjects and love tutoring in this. For the AP Bio course, my teacher had me come back to my high school recently to tutor the students currently taking the course.

French Tutoring

I have been taking french since 6th grade and have always been the top of my class. My french teachers throughout high school would ask me to tutor for their students, so I did that quite frequently. I took two semesters of advanced French at Simmons College and excelled. My french professor pulled me aside and wanted me to continue due to how well I was doing, but the future classes interfered with my nursing courses. There is something so beautiful about the language and culture, and I love helping students understand it.

Nursing Tutoring

I was accepted right away with a scholarship into the Simmons College nursing program. Being in my second semester of sophomore year, I have taken and completed multiple nursing specific courses, and excelled. I currently tutor online with Chegg and help various nursing students (and even a graduate student). I am currently working on a medical surgical floor at Faulkner Hospital.

Study Skills Tutoring

I strive when it comes to organizing and figuring out study skills that work for all different kinds of people. As a well versed tutor, I am able to adjust and figure out helpful approaches to assisting students with learning and study skills to be as successful as possible.

As a nursing student at Simmons College, math is something I have to do very well with. During high school, I tutored middle school math students through the National Honors Society program. I have also tutored a few basic math students online on Chegg.

English is one of my favorite subjects, and have always done really well in it. During middle school, I was used as an example for the state for being one of the only people to get a perfect score on the English MCAS. I love tutoring students in this subject and helping spread the love and necessity for reading and writing. I have a lot of experience tutoring english students online through Chegg and through National Honors Society at my previous high school.
