About Me
Hello, my name is Colleen and I am 19 years old. I am currently a freshman nursing student at UMass Boston. In high school, I was a member of the National honors Society for 3 years. I currently have a 4.0 gpa and made Dean's list last semester.
Experience
Throughout high school, I helped tutor my peers as a part of my community service for the National Honors Society. I also work for Jumpstart where I help prepare children for kindergarten. I am comfortable tutoring younger children as well as high school students.
Approach
One of my biggest passions is a program I currently work for called Jumpstart. Jumpstart is a national early education organization where college students, like myself, work with children to help them prepare for kindergarten. As a member, I help to provide children with language, literacy, and social-emotional education and promote quality early learning for all children. I really enjoy working with children and helping them reach their full potential!
