I am a Returned Peace Corps volunteer who served in Ukraine. I am originally from Arizona and have 11 brothers and sisters.

About Me

I currently attend American University as a Masters of Arts candidate in International Development with a specialization in children, youth and development. I am a first year masters candidate and do not yet have and established G.P.A. I also have a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Spanish, my undergraduate G.P.A. was 3.70. My most recent award was the Paul D. Coverdell Peace Corps Fellowship.

I have 2.5 years of teaching experience, including one-on-one and group washington-dc">tutoring. Most of my teaching experience is in teaching English as a second language to Ukrainian students. I also have experience teaching Spanish-speakers English and computer sciences. Currently I teach Service Learning to 6th grade students.

I aim to get the students to use as much of their previously learned knowledge as possible with guidance as needed from me. My goal is to get a student to think critically for themselves, while catering my approach to the learning style of the student.
