Fun Facts
I absolutely love to cook and bake! Whenever I have some free time I enjoy looking up new recipes to try out with my friends. Being outdoors is a great outlet for me as well especially going for runs on the Trinity!
About Me
I am a junior, soon to be senior, at Texas Christian University from Phoenix, AZ. I am currently studying Kinesiology with an emphasis in Sport Psychology. After my sophomore year I transferred to TCU from the University of Alabama where I was studying Nutrition. After I graduate I plan on getting my Masters in Sport and Performance Psychology with the hopes of one day working on strengthening the mental game of the worlds top elite athletes.
Experience
In high school I was the vice president of the tutoring club at my school, which serviced children that went to my grade school. I was also a member of National Junior Honor Society and tutored freshman in a variety of subjects when I was a senior. While I was a student at the University of Alabama I was part of "Al's Pal's" a mentor club that worked with outreach children in lower income communities in Alabama. While at TCU, I have tutored several students in Anatomical Kinesiology & Psychology
Approach
Throughout my time in college I have mastered the art of note taking and preparing for exams by altering the material given by the professor to better match my learning style. As a visual learning I have been able to organize and transform the material given in a way that is easier for me to understand and learn, a skill I wish to teach everyone I tutor. Through optimism and persistence I know that each student has the capability to excel if given the right tools and resources for success.
