Fun Facts

I love to read. I read almost every free minute I have because I love becoming the characters and seeing their world through their eyes. I travel to India every summer to visit my family. I have one brother who drives me crazy sometimes but ultimately we love each other. My favorite book series is Harry Potter and my favorite book from the series is Goblet of Fire. My favorite tv show is Modern Family because I love the idea of a big family!

About Me

I am a graduate student with an undergraduate degree in marketing. I graduated summa cum laude a year earlier than I was supposed to!

Experience

I have had experience tutoring before. All through middle school and two years into high school, my mom had a tutoring service where she tutored three children. She could not help all of them at the same time, so I tutored two of them alternatingly. One student is two years younger and when he came to us he could barely read English. My mother and I helped guide him through to high school where he is now in GT.

Approach

When I was in middle school, the teachers seemed to think that we were not capable of coming to the answer on our own. They always just gave us the answer and I never learned anything. As a tutor, I hope to let the student come to the answer themselves with a thorough understanding of how they got there. All I want to be there for is to guide them. Not push and then follow.
