Fun Facts
My strongest passion is for history. Since I was a child I've had the drive to find out "what happened" before my time. My favorite activity is Civil War re-enacting and I've been participating in re-enactments since age 12. It's so much fun to step back into history!
About Me
I studied at Cleveland State University where I majored in U.S History. I also have completed 3 years of graduate study in K-12 education/ohio/cleveland">Special Education. With 18 years experience in child care and education, I am currently working as a nanny which allows me to be able to spend time with my daughter before she enters kindergarten. Once she goes to school, I hope to resume teaching as an educational aide and small group instructor.
Experience
I have 4 years experience as a small group instructor and tutor and I enjoy helping students to reach their full academic potential through small group and one-on-one instruction. I am looking forward to working as a tutor to students build confidence and achieve academic success.
Approach
Whenever possible I try to make learning fun by creating games out of learning materials. I also encourage my students to exceed thier personal academic best. I also encourage students btobset thier own learning goals and then break studying to achieve their goals down into small, manageable tasks
