About Me
I recently graduated from boston-university">Boston University's College of Arts and Sciences at which I remained on Dean's List every semester of my undergraduate career (3.9 final GPA). I majored in International Relations with a particular focus in Western Europe. I served as the president of my Resident Hall's Association for one year and received distinctive recognition in European Studies upon graduation. I am looking to pursue a Marshall Scholarship for graduate studies in history, art history, or linguistic anthropology.
Throughout high school, I consistently made myself available after school hours to fellow peers who wished to collaborate on various assignments. Upon entering college, I quickly discovered that professors recruited students who had mastered elements of the course curriculum for boston">tutoring roles. I took advantage of these opportunities and tutored fellow peers in subjects ranging from Immunology and Infectious Disease to 19th Century Art History. I also volunteered, through the Boston Debate League, to adjudicate numerous Boston-area high school debate tournaments and provided constructive feedback to participants. Presently, I provide one-on-one private boston">tutoring services in Algebra II, Middle School-level math, and French for local clients.
I am so very fortunate to have developed intellectually with many talented, inspiring, and unique teachers and professors. They have instilled in me an unwavering curiosity, desire to learn, and academic confidence. This mindset transcends the content of any specific subject, and I work to inspire that intellectual curiosity and confidence during every session I conduct. Additionally, I attempt to create an atmosphere of collaboration--one that encourages asking questions, engaging dialogue, and attentive listening. In this way, I can present content in a manner that truly resonates with each student.
