Fun Facts
I was born and grew in a small country in West Africa called Cameroon. I always loved travelling, and one of the places that I wanted to make sure to visit was the U.S. Little did I know that I would attend college and probably more here. I also love sports and did swimming and tennis when I was young.
About Me
I am a graduate of Shaw University in Raleigh, NC, with a B.S. in Biology. Ever since freshmen year, I have been on the Dean's List maintaining an outstanding GPA, while being a full time student athlete as well. I aspire to join a Medical school soon to become an outstanding physician, helping people and saving lives have always been my lifetime goals.
Experience
Throughout my high school years, I always found myself helping out and tutoring classmates on sensitive topics. I have worked with students from middle and elementary school, tutoring science, and math. I have been a part of a mentoring program called the Biology Bear Program which consists of mentoring and tutoring freshmen students coming straight from high school. As I grew up in Cameroon, my first language was French. Here in America, I have been teaching French to friends and other people.
Approach
My mother was mostly a housewife when my father was still alive, and largely influenced my learning skills as she was the one tutoring me. Over the course of the years, I understood that people learn and understand differently, and hence my teaching approach is usually different for everyone. I observe the student's learning habits, and build a trustworthy and healthy tutoring relationship with them. I strive to understand their motivations, and ensure that our communication is always the best.

French Tutoring

Pre Calculus Tutoring
I took the Pre Calculus class in my Freshman year of college. During that semester, I understood the subject perfectly and obtained an A in it. I would be glad to tutor and help students understand the subject like I did

Trigonometry has always been one of the parts of Mathematics that I understand very well. I did a lot of Trigonometry in high school and also in college, and I always did great in it.

As a Biology major in college, I have taken a lot of different Biology classes. I always understood and did well in these classes. In about 90% of all the Biology classes that I have taken I have obtained an A in the class, and if not, then I obtained a B and never lower. I would be of great help to high school kids who need a heads up on these subjects

I have always had a good thing with Math and Math related subjects such as algebra, and basic math have all been easily understandable subjects to me. I have never had a problem understanding and teaching Pre Algebra to anyone and would love to help high school students understand the subject better.
Science Tutoring
As a Biology major and Chemistry minor in college, I can say that Science was always a "thing" to me. Ever since high school, I knew that I would grow up to be a scientist and was always passionate about laboratory work and experiments. I can be a great inspiration for kids who also aspire to become great scientists of tomorrow.
Middle School Math Tutoring
I have always had a good thing with basic Math and Math related subjects as they are easily understandable subjects to me. I have never had a problem understanding and teaching math to anyone whether it is high school, middle school, or even college Math.

My passion and love for Chemistry made me decide to minor in it. As a chemistry minor, I also have taken a lot of Chemistry classes from General Chemistry to Organic Chemistry even to Analytical Chemistry. In all those classes, I always obtained at a B or an A, and I enjoyed learning and also teaching my peers in class.
Chemistry II Tutoring
Being a Chemistry minor, I took a number of Chemistry classes from General Chemistry to Organic Chemistry even to Analytical Chemistry to better myself in the subject as I enjoyed Chemistry. In all those classes, I always obtained at a B or an A, and I enjoyed learning and also teaching my peers in class.

Study Skills Tutoring
I believe I have great study skills because I know how to manage my time, I usually plan my studies, and I do good in class and social life as well. Studying properly requires a lot of skills that are built up over time, and I would be glad to help in the building of those skills for some students.
Microsoft Excel Tutoring
I have worked with Microsoft Excel ever since I got to college and even before then. I have had the chance to have multiple experiences with Excel with various assignments in classes, and have sort of mastered Microsoft Excel over time.
Microsoft PowerPoint Tutoring
As I was working with Microsoft Excel, I have also worked with Microsoft PowerPoint ever since I got to college and even before then. I worked with it a lot to make homework Presentations in class. I have had the chance to have multiple experiences with it with various assignments in classes, and have sort of mastered Microsoft PowerPoint over time.
Microsoft Word Tutoring
In addition, I have also worked with Microsoft Word the most since it is very helpful to type papers. I have hence used Microsoft Word the most ever since college. Over the time, I have had multiple experiences with Word and mastered it.
