Fun Facts

A really cool thing that people love about me is my positive attitude and determination. I love working with kids and inspiring others to do the best that they can. I'm 21 years old and have a twin sister. I was born in Honolulu Hawaii and love playing basketball. When I'm not in school or at work I like to go to the gym and workout and shoot around on the court.

About Me

I am a junior computer engineering major at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I am apart of the National Society of Black Engineers where I serve as the Pre-College Initiative chair, also I serve as the promotion officer for the Charlotte Area Robotics club, and last I serve as a member for the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. I love working with others and helping others learn. I have 3 more semester before I graduate.

Experience

As the Pre college Initiative for the National Society of Black Engineers, I did a great deal of tutoring students in high school. A lot of my tutoring consisted of basic algebra and math. I witnessed many students grades improve due to my help. I'm also a server and communicate with different individuals daily, so I'm able to work well with different people.

Approach

As a child I always had a passion to learn, my parents were always proud of me for doing so well in school. The reason I love tutoring and giving back to the community is because I feel everyone has the potential to make a difference in the world. As a tutor I help students understand the material and show them how these simple concepts are applied in the world.
