Hi There! My name is Victor. Outside of my dedicated focus on furthering my continuing education and research in Business and Management, I enjoy spending quality time and sharing a good laugh with my family and friends. I also love traveling,
experiencing new cultures, rock-climbing, and exercising. My ultimate goal is to make a positive impact on students and practitioners by being an effective HR Professor, Researcher, and Leader.

I'm currently a MBA student at the University of North Texas. My specialization is within Organizational Behavior and Human Resources Management (OBHRM). I will graduate in May 2018. My career objective is to become a Professor, Researcher, and
Coach in Strategic Human Resources. I will begin the Doctoral Program at UNT in Strategic HR in Fall 2018. I was distinguished with the Outstanding Graduate Student in OBHRM in Spring 2017 for hard work and excellent academic achievement (3.89 GPA)
Experience
I have served the UNT Department of Management for two-years (on-going) as a Teaching Assistant. I have facilitated curiosity, participation, and attendance from incoming business students to help them select their specialty to potentially graduating seniors to maximize their potential in career preparedness in Business Policy, the capstone course. I also hold weekly tutor hours to help students facilitate understanding of complex material and formulate a gameplan to reach their academic goals.
Approach
I believe students learn and retain the most useful, real-world principles on complex subject matter through relevant examples and understanding their level of prior knowledge. Learning can be fun if we can make tutoring relevant through the eyes of the student. Further, setting academic goals and breaking down complex assignments into smaller chunks together with the pupil is paramount.
