Fun Facts

I grew up in Minnesota but I moved to Colorado for school. So far I am loving it! In my free time you could find my skiing in the mountains, exploring the city, or teaching swim lessons. I enjoy spending time outside and running. I am currently training for my second half marathon!

About Me

I am a senior Molecular Biology major at the denver">University of Denver. I also have minors in chemistry, psychology and spanish. When I graduate I plan on continuing on to a Physicians Assistant Masters program.

Experience

Throughout high school I worked with elementary aged students on their creative writing, encouraging new ideas and strong writing skills. Once in college, I spent some time tutoring first graders at a local Elementary school in writing and reading. Now that I spend most of my energy studying the sciences, I feel confident that I can encourage learning and understanding of tough material in the sciences or reading and writing!

Approach

Through high school, I always was a lover of reading and writing. Science was never my strong suit until one year, it finally clicked. I worked hard to understand the material and quickly, science became my new favorite subject. Now I focus all of my studies in biology. I strive to help students find the confidence and encouragement they need to understand and have fun, while learning their material!
