Fun Facts

My career has spanned a lot of industries beyond just education. I have worked in clinical behavioral management, corporate insurance approvals case management, professional photography, business branding and social media analysis, user experience design, and (most recently) corporate construction operations. I come from a family where the furry family members outnumber the people.

About Me

I have over a decade of classroom teaching and curriculum development experience in both the public and private school systems in the DC Metro area. I have Masters in Education in Teaching and Learning

Experience

I have more than a decade of traditional classroom experience as a professional educator where I served as the department head at a private high school. Prior to teaching secondary education, I worked in middle school age education and was personally invested in the AVID curriculum as it promoted and encouraged all learners to discover how they learned best in order for them to find the most individualized success.

Approach

For as much as I love teaching, I love learning alongside my student even more. The process of discovering new things or even refining the process of learning is something that never gets old to me.
