Fun Facts
My hobbies involve mostly anything outside, I love to play basketball and to go hiking too. I am the middle child of five siblings, we grew up in a suburb north of Dallas. I love travel and eat lots of different kinds of foods. My favorite place I've traveled to is easily Peru, my favorite country in the world.
About Me
I am a senior Biology major at the University of Texas at Austin. I'm currently in the process of medical school applications. I hope to attend UTSW for medical school, but I would be happy to go anywhere. My final goal is to become an orthopedic surgeon.
Experience
Although I've never tutored for a company, I frequently tutor friends and family for the classes that they struggle in. I tutored a group of Ochem students this semester, and had a blast because I truly enjoy the subject and teaching others. I'm excited to have the opportunity to branch my services out and help more people.
Approach
I think learning should be fun and rewarding, not a challenging or stressful experience. I've been blessed to have several amazing teachers in my university experience who taught me how to love to learn. As a tutor, I hope to embody the passion of many professors before me, teaching students not only the subjects they're trying to pass, but to teach them how to learn and gain deeper understandings. Nothing makes me happier than hearing the excitement from people I've helped after they succeed
