Fun Facts

Before moving to LA, I lived in Lisbon, Portugal for 3 years. I love Lisbon’s culture, views and food (best octopus in the world). I love to travel and am grateful I’ve been able to experience life in a few different countries. I’m a big film fan so I’ve really enjoyed living in LA where all the magic happens. When I’m not working, you fill find me enjoying the outdoors, going to the movies, or reading books/articles.

About Me

Bonjour! My name is Gregory and I moved to LA just about 3 years ago now. I was born and raised in Normandy, and moved to Paris when I was 18 years old to go to university. Growing up, English was definitely not my favorite subject, so I understand how difficult it is to learn a new language. I obtained both my Bachelor and Master degrees from French universities.

Experience

As a French Citizen and Native French Speaker, I had to learn English as a second language. While I was struggling to learn English, I got help from an English tutor and I taught myself on my personal time using text books, movies, tv shows and podcasts. Now bilingual in English, I fully understand the process and steps necessary to learn a new language. I lived in France for 31 years and obtained both my bachelors and masters degrees at French universities in Paris.

Approach

I am excited by the opportunity to help you learn a new language and you will find I am very enthusiastic about French language and culture (especially food). My tutoring style is to ensure you feel supported and you clearly understand the lesson.
