For fun I enjoy spending time with friends, traveling, swimming, and going to concerts. I am originally from Arizona but absolutely love Kansas City and consider it home.

About Me

I am currently a third-year student in the Counseling Psychology Ph.D. program at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. I have Bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Family and Human Development from Arizona State University. I am currently a practicum student at the Topeka VA Medical Center. I hope to own a private practice one day.

Experience

I am currently employed as a RooWriter Evaluator for UMKC. In this position, I create reading packets and evaluate undergraduate essays by providing constructive feedback. I have also worked as a graduate assistant at UMKC and part of my duties included grading Masters student's assignments and papers. I am currently involved in research projects and have experience with academic writing and publication.

Approach

Throughout my life, I utilized tutoring services, whether it be for guidance on a project or assistance with test preparation, and found the services very beneficial. I hope to provide the same assistance to the students I work with and help make learning enjoyable.
