Fun Facts
I love reading, staying active (running, tennis, golf, swimming), and trying out new restaurants and food! I was in California for high school, North Carolina for college, and now I'm in Boston for a gap year before medical school.
About Me
I graduated from Duke with a major in Biology and minors in Chemistry and Global Health. I have been on the Dean's List with Distinction for 4 semesters, Dean's List for 1 semester, and graduated with an Honors in Biology. I am currently applying to medical schools! I scored a 2390 on my SAT and placed the 98th percentile on my MCAT.
Experience
Throughout my time at Duke, I tutored English and math with America Reads America Counts, and volunteered with an organization called Science Days to teach hands-on science lessons every week at local schools. I love tutoring as it gives me an opportunity to truly make an impact on my students!
Approach
I work hard to make concepts easily digestible and share my tips/tricks in various subjects! I make sure that I build good study skills with every tutee and I value understanding of the material rather than rote memorization.
