I'm a very outdoorsy girl. I love kayaking, hiking traveling and meeting people from different countries and cultures.

I love making art crafts, it is my relaxing therapy after a long day at work.

About Me

I'm 25 years old, I'm from Bogota, Colombia. I studied pharmaceutical chemistry so I'm a licensed pharmacist back home. I speak Spanish and English.

I love being a tutor because I really enjoy teaching, as well after more than 10 years doing it I have realized that I have a very special skill explaining and transmitting knowledge in an easy and fun way.

Experience

I've been working as a tutor since I was 14. I've been tutoring math ( math, algebra, geometry, calculus), science ( chemistry, biology & physics) and Spanish.

As well I was a volunteer for 1 year at a public school helping students reinforcement their knowledge and assisting their homework projects and assignments. I was very full filling see how my students improve their grades.

Approach

Fortunately, I had teachers who, through positive encouragement and persistence, helped me realize my true potential. As a tutor, I attempt to bring this attitude to all of my sessions. I feel it is my responsibility to not only teach them the content but study skills and values that will help them be successful in all classes and become a better person every day!
